01. The Role
Technical Platform Manager
As the Technical Platform Manager, you will have the Key role of ensuring the operational excellence, reliability, and scalability of our platform. Reporting to the CTO, you will lead efforts to maintain platform uptime, resolve incidents, and plan upgrades, all while collaborating closely with the Product Owner and supported by two skilled developers.
Your technical expertise, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills, will help maintain high service levels and guarantee Service Management while providing relevent and accurante reports to your managers and our clients.
02. Responsibilities
What You'll Do

Platform Operations & Maintenance
- Ensure the platform is fully operational and meeting uptime and performance SLAs.
- Monitor and manage platform services to maintain a seamless user experience.
Incident Management
Oversee and troubleshoot platform incidents, driving quick and efficient resolutions.
Delegate and coordinate tasks with developers to address technical issues effectively.
Security Management
Ensure the platform’s security by implementing industry best practices and conducting regular audits.
Proactively identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
Upgrades & Improvements
Plan, schedule, and manage platform upgrades in collaboration with the Product Owner.
Test and implement new features, ensuring minimal disruption during deployments.
Database Administration
Utilize advanced expertise in MS SQL Server to optimize database performance, scalability, and reliability.
Manage backups, recovery plans, and routine database maintenance.
Architecture Management
Support and maintain the AWS and Kubernetes-based microservices architecture.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud infrastructure and service orchestration.
Client Engagement
Communicate confidently with clients, addressing their technical concerns with ease and professionalism.
03. Requirements
What we're looking for

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, with a track record of managing high-availability platforms.
- Database Expertise: Advanced skills in MS SQL Server, including query optimization, indexing, and database scaling.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud management.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes-based microservices architecture.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to delivering quality work.
- Confidence and ease in client-facing situations, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Curiosity and initiative to explore new solutions and proactively improve platform performance.
- Leadership: Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and mentoring junior developers.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or SQL Server.
- Experience in SaaS or payment platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
