01. The Role
Microsoft 365 Engineer
We’re looking for a Microsoft 365 Engineer who can design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Microsoft 365 environments for our clients. You’ll be the person who turns a messy, underutilized M365 tenant into a well-governed, secure, and productive digital workplace.
This isn’t a helpdesk role. You’ll work directly with enterprise IT leaders to architect SharePoint Online solutions, configure Exchange Online policies, deploy Microsoft Teams at scale, and implement security & compliance frameworks using Microsoft Purview and Defender. You’ll also automate workflows with Power Platform and ensure seamless integration with Azure AD and hybrid environments.
Our clients are mid-to-large enterprises going through digital transformation. They need someone who understands not just the technical configuration, but the business context — why a particular governance policy matters, how information architecture affects productivity, and when to push back on a request that would create technical debt.
02. Responsibilities
What You'll Do
We trust you to manage your schedule around deliverables.
M365 Tenant Architecture & Governance
Design and implement M365 tenant configurations, governance frameworks, and lifecycle policies. Establish naming conventions, group policies, and access controls that scale with the organization.
SharePoint & Teams Deployment
Architect SharePoint Online information architecture, build modern intranet solutions, and deploy Microsoft Teams with proper governance. Configure channels, permissions, and retention policies.
Exchange Online & Email Security
Manage Exchange Online environments — mail flow rules, DLP policies, anti-phishing configurations, and hybrid coexistence scenarios. Ensure email security meets enterprise compliance requirements.
Security & Compliance
Implement Microsoft Purview for data classification, sensitivity labels, and compliance policies. Configure Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Conditional Access policies, and Zero Trust frameworks.
Power Platform & Automation
Build business process automations using Power Automate, create operational dashboards with Power BI, and develop lightweight apps with Power Apps to extend M365 capabilities.
Migration & Integration
Plan and execute migrations from on-premises Exchange, file servers, and legacy systems to M365. Manage Azure AD Connect, hybrid identity, and third-party integrations.
03. Requirements
What we're looking for

- A degree in computer/technology-related discipline or equivalent work experience
- English language must be fluent, or at least above medium, for reading, writing and conversational use
- Appropriate certifications in Microsoft 365 technologies strongly preferred. If not present yet, they will be required in the first 6 months (resources and paid examinations will be offered)
- A good understanding of Microsoft 365 concepts including Office 365 identity management with Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, OneDrive for business, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, hybrid scenarios, Office ProPlus and Delve
- Experience on configuring, deploying, and managing Office 365 workloads that focus on efficient and effective collaboration, such as SharePoint (online, on-premises, and hybrid), OneDrive, and Teams is a plus
- Knowledge on deploying, configuring, managing, and monitoring recipients, compliance, threat protection, and mail flow in hybrid and cloud enterprise environments
- A working knowledge of networking, server administration, and IT fundamentals such as DNS and Active Directory
- A good knowledge in PowerShell shell scripting
Nice-To-Haves
Not required. But these would make you stand out.
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) in enterprise contexts
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager for device management
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot for M365 deployment and governance
- Familiarity with Azure services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Information Protection)
- Background in enterprise IT consulting — you’ve worked with multiple clients, not just one internal environment
- Experience with Viva suite (Viva Engage, Viva Connections, Viva Learning)
